About us
Talofa and Welcome to Auckland Catholic Preschool Trust
At Auckland Catholic Preschool Trust (ACPT), we nurture confident, compassionate, and curious learners in a warm, faith-based environment where every child feels valued, safe, and inspired to grow. Guided by Catholic values and Te Whāriki, our bilingual early learning centres in South Auckland foster a love of learning through play, strong family partnerships, and respect for every child's culture, identity, and potential.
Established in 2003, we provide a warm, nurturing, and inclusive early learning environment where children are encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity, and compassion. As a not-for-profit organisation operating two bilingual early childhood centres in South Auckland, we welcome children aged 0–5 years and their families into communities built on faith, belonging, and respect.
Guided by Christian values and Catholic teachings of aroha—love for God, Jesus Christ, and one another—we create safe and inspiring spaces where every child is valued and supported to thrive spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually, and culturally.
Our experienced teaching teams believe children learn best through meaningful play and exploration. Guided by Te Whāriki, Aotearoa New Zealand's Early Childhood Curriculum, we foster each child's unique strengths, interests, and identity through responsive teaching, encouraging children to make choices, discover new ideas, solve problems, and become confident lifelong learners.
We value strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, aiga, and whānau, recognising that learning flourishes when families and educators work together. We honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our communities, ensuring every child feels a deep sense of belonging and pride in who they are.
